Motivation
This course challenges mechanical engineering students in developing mechanical systems and prototypes with a sustainable mindset. Students learn to adopt a systemic approach in terms of sustainability regarding the way they design and produce their prototypes
Content
ME-420 is an intensive master's-level course focused on applying advanced design methodologies to develop sustainable and scalable mechanical engineering solutions. Students work in teams to create innovative concepts, build functional prototypes, and evaluate their environmental and social implications. The course culminates in a live audience expo where students showcase their projects through oral presentations.
