Project Description
This project introduces an automated system to support EPFL's "Reuse your cup" initiative by offering a collection solution, reducing plastic waste from Dallmayr coffee cups. Using AI recognition system, the machine collects only Dallmayr cups, rejecting others, and stores up to 80 cups, ensuring three days of autonomy. As 10,000 cups are introduced monthly our system promotes reuse through a sustainable, circular process and saving 200kg of plastic monthly.
